650 Victoria Street North Melbourne is the new headquarters for the Victoria Automobile Chamber of Commerce (VACC), an automotive industry employer association.
 
The project consisted of the demolition of 2 existing buildings, 3 levels of basement carparking and 3 levels office space. Hacer’s scope included the integrated fitout of the office levels to suit VACC’s requirements and encompasses end of trip facilities, teaching spaces, members lounges, general office spaces, breakout areas and executive offices and boardrooms. 
 
The building is dressed in a decorative screen inspired by the Ford Mustang grille, and has become a stand out feature in the area.  

The project was completed early 2022.
